Alfred Gratien Cuvée Paradis Rosé

region
France
appellation
Champagne
grape
A vintage champagne consisting of a blend of 63% Chardonnay and 37% Pinot Noir. Only the Grands Crus from among the Chardonnay and Pinot Noir are used while making this exceptional wine.
vinification
Traditional vinification and maturation occurs in small 228-liter oak casks, with self-imposed limits on production levels. To ensure that it maintains its original character, Alfred Gratien makes a conscious decision not to use malolactic fermentation in the production of its champagne. The aroma of the grapes and the land from which they came are thus preserved, and the wine retains its freshness, even as it ages.
aging
Aging occurs in bottle for six to seven years.
color
Salmon-pink in color.
aroma
There are complex notes of almond, red and black berries.
palate
Refined bubbles with tingling flavors lead to a generous and lingering finish.
