Overview

Established in 1972, by Janet and Rodney Pratt, who were pioneers. Guided by nature – the mild climate and the sandstone soil – they discovered the best varieties of grapes to grow in their eco-system. The team now produce award-winning still and sparkling wines from our famous Pinot Noir and Pinot Gris to our classic sparkling Bolney Bubbly and Blanc de Blancs.

Our Estate is located on the edge of the South Downs, about 14 miles from the UK’s South Coast, and comprises of five unique vineyard sites. Our vineyard team work hard throughout the year caring for the vines.

History

Bolney’s story began in 1972 when owners and founders Janet and Rodney Pratt purchased the land and began their vineyard journey, first establishing the land under the original name of Bookers Vineyard.
